Five State Democratic Parties have passed CEASEFIRE resolutions:

  • The Texas Democratic Party unanimously passed their resolution on December 2nd, 2023, calling for a humanitarian ceasefire and release of the hostages.

  • Later the same day, the Democratic Party of Hawaii called on their Congressional representatives to support the Ceasefire Now Resolution and asked for the Biden Administration to call for a ceasefire, as well.

  • The Arizona Democratic Party passed a resolution that “recognized the equal value of Israeli and Palestinian lives” and called for the “establishment of a Palestinian state” on January 27, 2024.

  • The Washington State Democratic Party overwhelmingly passed (the vote was 75-54) a resolution that called for a ceasefire and for the reinstatement of funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) on January 28, 2024.
